OctoberAssignment Writing Stuff

My theme for the October assignment was mirrors. Every single photo I took was in a mirror, whether you can see the frame or not. I chose this theme because it is honestly the easiest way to get a reflection. I think that I showed a large variety of styles and views one can take reflections. The pictures symbolize that not everything is as it seems.

In photoshop, I edited the pictures clarity, vibrance, and saturation. I tried to make the photos have the blackest blacks, and the whitest whites. There wasn't much editing to do after that because all the picture needed was to be turned into black and white. One photo, I changed what the mirror image was besides what the person looked like outside of the mirror from previous photography lessons.

I liked this project because it was cool to try and find all the different ways you can take a picture with certain props and having to edit them a certain way. These pictures were fun to shoot and weren't too difficult to uphold. One of my favourite projects so far.
